This page explains what information D.C. Computing Services collects through this website and how I use it.
What information is collected
Depending on which form you use, this may include:
- Your name, email address and message.
- Business details, contact details and information about the website you need.
- Information about your community group and its application.
- Any acknowledgements you submit with a form.
- Information about how you use the website, if you accept analytics cookies.
How I use your information
I use the information you provide to:
- Reply to your questions.
- Prepare quotes.
- Review community applications.
- Provide the services you request.
If you accept analytics cookies, I also use general website usage information to understand how people use the site.
What happens when you send a form
Accepted contact messages, quote requests and community applications are saved by the website and sent to DC-OS, my private enquiry system.
I also receive an email notification. Delivery records help me check and recover notifications that haven't arrived.
After reviewing an enquiry, I may link it to a lead or customer record.
Sending a form doesn't create an agreement or sign you up for marketing.
Spam protection
When enabled, the contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to help block automated spam. Cloudflare processes information about your browser and device to carry out the check.
This is separate from optional analytics. You can also contact me directly by email or WhatsApp.

Analytics and cookies
This website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it. Analytics only starts after you accept cookies.
You can change your choice using Cookie settings in the footer.
Declining stops new analytics requests once your choice has been processed and removes this website's analytics cookies. It can't take back requests already sent or remove information Google has already received.
Your choice is shared between tabs using the same website address. The addresses with and without “www” store separate choices.
The forms, saved quote drafts and website help feature work without analytics. Quote form progress is saved in your browser so you can return to it later.
How long information is kept
I review:
- Closed enquiries that didn't become customer work, and confirmed spam, after 90 days.
- Genuine enquiries with no further activity after 12 months.
Information needed for ongoing customer work is kept while it remains relevant to that work.
These are review points, not automatic deletion dates. Email copies and backups are managed separately.
